My Kingdom

Father father, you lay here so lifeless, your soul high in flight
Melds now with mine so to better my might
Now lay your head down on a stack of pillows
Let go of your mind, let it wander through the meadows
Can you rest now? You're at peace
Father tell me, will you miss this place?
You defined the line between man and space
Beloved man, your energy burns still, for all of time
Nations lend word of your sublime, oh your sublime
Upon your last breath said, love her son, treat her kind, give the world a taste of your mind
So now, I must turn 'round, face nations
My kingdom, it's mine, peace among creation
I'm on the verge of breaking through
