Your Own Misery

Pieces of a game, played by the man who will and can
Boy you have it all wrong, threatened you are backed into a corner
Your eyes blood shot red, are you the one who can? Blessed one, tell me you have a plan
The mystery, resident of your own misery

Will you give your life to save her's, your destiny, do you believe?
On your knees, you plead, on your knees, you bleed
Tighten your knuckles white, brace for the fall
Failed to save her, up in smoke, her face you won't recall
Your destiny, do you believe?
How can it be this way, why let it get this far, why can't you just leave it be
You will remain here staring into smoke filled horizons, 'till the sun dims down to nothing
The mystery, resident of your own misery
